Axis Mundi: FALL

The “Axis Mundi”, or "world axis," represents a central point where heaven, earth, and the underworld intersect—a cosmic connection between all realms of existence. It reminds us of the unity and interdependence of all things, inviting reflection on our place within this greater, interconnected cosmos. “Axis Mundi” is a conceptual motion graphics project that symbolizes the central connection between the physical and spiritual realms, drawing inspiration from the timeless cycle of the four seasons: Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer. This series of stills from the “Fall” segment of Axis Mundi delves into themes of transition, letting go, and the beauty of decay. The imagery draws upon rich, earthy tones and dynamic compositions that evoke the transformation of leaves, the passage of time, and the emotional resonance of autumn. This chapter captures the fragile balance between death and renewal, grounding viewers in a moment of introspection. The project weaves together evocative visuals, minimalist motion, and symbolic imagery to reflect the cyclical nature of existence and the interconnectedness of all life.
